if you get d2 you can level up pretty easily by joining bot games, but you'd enjoy it more by playing it out right. if you cant join actual public games then you can still enjoy it alone, though it was really fun back i the day when you're playing with 7 other people. that's one of the things i liked about d2 over d1, oh and the fact that you can actually run LOL
but d1 is IMO more fun b/c of the lighting, setting, and music. it was darker and scarier. they definately set the tone amazingly in d1. but dam joining pugs and friendly fire LOL
