I'm currently using Hot Spot Shield on a MAC. Seems to be working fine, but it does require you to download the program and run it each time you want to bypass the great firewall. It's not the best as it intermittently cuts off, but it's free

P.s. I'm in Guangzhou and it works fine for YouTube and Facebook.
