2. All orders before this time will get a confirmation within 24 - 72 hours

4. Out of stock of all Touchpads

NCIX Update
Just got word from NCIX, they have stock, but have been waiting for HP to confirm that they are covered for the reduced price. Seems that people who ordered up until Saturday afternoon should be ok!

As I was writing this my doorbell rang, and it was Purolator with my order of 2 touchpads! My order is still in ADMIN status on the website but I have them in my hands

1. She said that she had been working in the call center for 2 years and had a lot of experience in how the HP order system works.
2. She said that the order will be fulfilled in succession by the SCAS Purchase Order#, NOT by the HP Order# that may be assigned at a later date. Thus, those buyers who did not receive the HP Order# immediately will not be penalized in the waiting list.
3. The reason that the assignment of the HP Order# may be delayed is related to billing issue.
4. Her source tells her that MOST of the ORDERS will be canceled within the next day or so. They will NOT be put on a backorder. She said that the likely cutoff for the order time would be Saturday morning. Therefore, any order placed after this time will likely be canceled. As of now, she had received no instruction from the head office that subsequent orders will be placed on backorder; they will just be canceled.

Also, my friend working @ BB says there was no shipment today. We'll see about tomorrow as well. Not cancelling my order just yet.
