I think they'll get shipped. The e-mail made it clear that everyone who ordered before Aug 22 would receive theirs.
I'm also hoping the HP Store will call me since I put my name down on the waitlist. The waitlist isn't guaranteed but last time I called they were about halfway through the 14 pages of names lol.
