man my skinny cousins wedding is coming up so I told 'em to start training with me to get a nice size for his big day. He keeps questioning my methods im starting him on a nice 5x5 routine with 1-2 isolation exercises per day. I'm trying to be patient but constantly being nagged about the exercises we're doing or asked if we should be doing abs workouts is bugging me (as well as suggesting we do chest and other random exercises ). I had to beg him to agree to working out 3x a week instead of 2x lol, bahhh, Why can't people just listen to me. And then constantly saying "..but i don't wanna get as big as you" ... man I didn't just wake up being 200+ pounds one day, it took a lot of #1 combos at triple O's lol. I'm pretty patient but hopefully he starts getting into the groove soon, I spent 70 minutes doing squat + deadlift + overhead press + shrugs + cable lateral raises, AND I didn't have to wait for a single machine the entire time. Hopefully it all works out and he doesn't quit halfway. Anyone else start taking a family member to the gym? Is it always this bumpy when you start out? lol. Hopefully it won't be bad as soon as its time for chest day, having a spotter is nice.
edit: oh, and ontop of that, he refuses to take creatine! FUUUUU ... Ah well.
