okay, you first say the leafs have at least done some winning and that's all that counts... so the canucks beat the hawks... by your previous logic, what does fluke or not have anything to do with it? plus i don't kno what fluke you're talking about... i clearly saw burrows slap it past crawford in OT... canucks won that series, period.
Also, since you like to say at least they've won the cup, the islanders also had a dynasty run during the early 80s (which is still more recent than any leafs cup run). Is anybody gonna argue if ppl say the islanders suck? of course not! obviously when ppl say leafs suck it means the currently... digging up the glory days of yesteryear for an arguement like this is like saying, "my dad was somebody famous and successful..." it has nothing to do with you... i could be wrong on this bcuz there is always the sense of pride from a winning past
