just noticed this sticky, so i'll post here too:
went to a new restaurant on cambie st today (near 17th)
Noa Pan Asian Bistro
off the top of my head we ordered:
1. deep fried chicken wings with lemon dipping sauce
2. beef brisket and tomato noodle soup
3. indonesian chicken fried rice (excellent imo)
4. hot and sour soup
the wings alone are worth the trip to this new place!
nice atmosphere/interior design, good service, decent prices, great food. there's a lot of other food on the menu i'll have to try.
prices: $3-$4 drinks, food $8-$11. the fried rice was enough for 2 people or 2 meals
