But there's never been a discussion like that in this thread. It's always been about what color they are or what they look like, which I just don't understand. I just find it weird. It's not like they were even designed...Reebok or whatever just takes the team's colors and puts that on the pads. Otherwise, they look largely the same.

Well, there wouldn't be a discussion like that in this thread,
because people don't talk about gear performance (in general)
since this isn't a gear review thread.
And from my initial post,
I was simply commenting that I'm not a fan of that "Premiere IV" Reebok design.
But even if it's just colours, I think it's valid to comment on the colour scheme being used.

It seems like most players already do wear visors now... except for the enforcers, or
some of the veterans that still refuse to get one.
Within the next 5 years, most of those veterans will be retired.
So I guess that just leaves the enforcers...
Maybe it's an appearance thing, and they don't feel like they are intimidating if they get a visor... ?
