Avoid like the plague.
Trust me.

Had the Optimus 2X international version for 1 month. Nothing but problems. Sold it at a loss.
Go to xda forums and read about the random shut off problem, random freezes, random shut off after charging phone overnight, terrible call quality where it sounds like I'm in a parade to the other person (i flashed 5 different RILs and still couldn't find a good one), gallery and app crashes, the lcd not lighting back up after a call ends, button presses not registering when calling into voicemail. Do I need to keep going?

It's basically an incredibly unstable phone and has nothing to do with the rom. I used stock for one week and also cyanogenmod7 for 3 weeks. CM7 was better, but still suffered from random freezes and most of the above issues. People on xda have been bitching about LG not wanting to release a fix despite knowing the problems exist.

I sold and picked up a SGS2 and that is the ONLY way to go if you want a dual core android phone right now. Stay far far FAR away from the optimus 2x.
