Not always, but sometimes when i try to close up on an object even in the broad daylight it still focuses then unfocuses then focuses up few times repeatedly. When i used my friend's Nikon D60 it was like instant focus.

Canon is having some kind of promotion thing? Not sure what but i think it was something to do with the a lens kit though.....
