im glad you didnt get the t3 haha. maybe the d60's lens was more "focused" if you know what i mean. closer to the focusing range? my d90 does the focus and unfocus thing too. it does that a LOT. in fact it happens to me everyday. maybe thats because i shoot in low light situations a lot. sometimes your camera wont focus when the lens is too close from the object. ie a macro lens can go as far as the filter touching the object whereas the 50mm or 35mm cant focus an inch away from the object.

$800 is a good deal. dont sell the d90 before you get the d7000 maybe? if you dont like it than you can always sell the d7000 for profit haha. i think the d7000 handles the grain A LOT better and af is better. but is it worth the money? then again i have grain at 250-400 iso during low light situations and its horrendous if i go over 800 iso lol. (i use a d90 too)
