People are complaining that iTunes is the one thing they hate about using any iDevice (uncluding the OP).
iOS 5 can work by itself without needing iTunes or a computer even. I'd say removing the one thing that bugs people the most is a significant upgrade.
Then there's that little feature called iCloud....
