You can't verify. No one will sell tickets to you that way. Usually people sell it because they can't make it to the arena. Or what if you (buyer) flake out last minute at the gate?
I only buy from season ticket holder, check Canucks ID, match with drivers license, and trust them. At the end, you are saving at least 40-80% depending how much homework you do on CL.
