But maybe it was. Either way, no context = no real story. Maybe the banana was just thrown while Simmons was on the ice. People are just trying to sell newspapers because people are anticipating the return of NHL hockey.
On a sort of related note, I love that Wayne Simmons is black because he has the blackest name in the NHL.
