This is actually true for many men. The older they get the more attractive they are. It is not only because older men are more mature, have more money or whatever, but also because they finally have learned how to present themselves as a challenge. Most women (except for the ones who have been hurt too deeply in the past or the ones with very low self-esteem) are addicted to challenges. If you are too readily available or showing interest too soon at the initial stage, they would lose interest real quick. A typical lady-killer often displays the best side of himself: he's mature, thoughtful, caring, helpful, financially stable, kind...the list goes on...these are great qualities in men women are seeking. However, what actually drives women crazy and starts chasing after the man is that the man is acting like he doesn't care. He even goes as far as telling these women he is not ready for a relationship/he enjoys being single etc. He remains good friends with these women and eventually many women are falling into his trap because he's so perfect yet they can't have him...the more they can't have him the more they want him...the woman he wants is already in his hand but he'll proceed to do a bit of pursuing anyways and take some initiatives to make the woman happy as well as saving her face.
