Logitech already produces licensed xbox 360 accessories, they just too cheap to include the hardware for XID in G wheels.
PS3/Windows uses USB HID which uses your CPU for calculating force feedback and input. 360 uses USB XID which offloads the processes for input and force feedback to a dedicated chip on the input device. XID costs more.
