Sounds like someone's in denial. Stanley Cup Finalist, yeah 3 times; NW Division Champs, been there - done that, President's Trophy, Art Ross, Pearson, Selke etc...
but none of those (even combined) comes close to going down as a Championship City for at least even ONCE in history.
So go ahead and keep telling yourself that 40+ years of competitive hockey + 3 close calls >= 1 Stanley Cup championship. I prefer the latter so much, it's in my bucket list.
