If I'm not mistaken, all the parts are from China anyhow, and are assembled in Mexico. So it all comes down to the quality of the LCD panel itself, and the quality of the assembly. Of course, brands have better frame designs, but if it isn't for anything special I'd say go with the Dynex. They're relatively cheaper and it wouldn't be so painful to replace them.
If you're getting it from BestBuy/Futureshop and decide on the Dynex, consider their performance service plan. If it DOES break down in the statement time period, you can get yourself a new TV.
