Not worried one bit. The same could be said of Gmail, Google Docs, Dropbox or any other similar service.
The big difference is iCloud is sandboxed. The easiest way to explain it is if you have 10 Apps storing documents & data in the cloud then you will have 10 secured "directories" on iCloud. App #1 only has access to data in directory #1. Even if a malicious App made it onto Apple's servers and you installed it on your phone, it still can't access data in "directories" other than the one it's been assigned.
