IMO the Canucks' wouldn't have made a run that far without Lu last year.

Why do people keep saying they disappeared? We generated chances that were just back stopped. I clearly remember Thomas stopping 3 break aways dead cold. Secondly, Canucks couldn't activate their defense because Lu would let in 2 or 3 goals mid-way through the game; in some cases within minutes of each other. But it's not like that even stopped the bleeding and we're left with 8 goal games.
For game 7, how many people felt that sinking feeling come 2nd period and team had to play themselves out of a 2 goal hole to even have a whiff of a chance of coming out on top?
It's exactly just like last night; it's deflating to your bench when you let one in right after the other just immediately right after your team gets one back and bailing you out.
Off course we're not privvy to locker room politics or personal opinions but I wonder if Lu's clout is starting to affect the team. The thing is, at this point how many scapegoats get thrown under the bus for this guy because AV is seriously running out of lambs for the slaughter: First it was Wellwood, then it was Hordichuck, then it was O'Brien. Like seriously?
