DIY: Restoring your iPod back scratches w/PICS

Materials: < $15

1 - automotive refinish/masking tape or painter's tape
2 - exacto blade/knife
3 - Cape cod polishing cloth edit: also works with automotive car polish

Step 1: Mask off the areas you don't want to polish

Step 2:
Use a small piece and rub in circular motion. The cloth should turn black, don't worry, that's supposed to happen.

After the area is polished with the tarnish and let it sit for 30 seconds, then buff (in a circlular motion) with an absorbent cloth (microfibre cloth, even kleenix)

Step 3: Repeat for 2 -3 passes

Step 4: remove masking tape and admire results
