It's good every now and then for a shock. I used it when I plateaued on barbell bench where you do 10x10 adding 10lbs each set working up to your 10 rep max. It's pretty harsh, be prepared to go balls to the wall.

Also I feel ya about having long arms man 78'' reach here been working forever on bench and finally got 300 @ 182lbs
