i'm sure the zombie can't tell the difference between a live person laying on the ground and a dead guy who was JUST shot laying still on the ground. He's still fresh enough.
What disappointed me was that they were pretty consistent what the abilities of the zombies for the entire show so far. Shane and Otis running as fast as they could in episode 2 still couldn't gain enough distance from the zombies. But now that they are both limping and slow the zombies STILL can't catch them. Wtf??? Not to mention the time he took wrestling with Otis was like a minute long. Zombies shoulda caught up for sure.
