The good news for Nashville is that even after their signing of Rinne, they still have $33m in cap space next year.
The bad news is that they have only 11 players signed right now so they'll need to fill more than half the roster with that $33m. That and Nashville is one of those "cap floor" teams so they probably won't spend more than $50-55m in salary so they might have as little as $20m in cap space to work with.
Suter will want $6m and Weber probably $8m. Even with $33m, they're left with $19m to sign 11 more players. At $20m, they've got $6m left to sign 11 players.
Nashville needs to loosen up those purse strings if they really want to make a Cup run. They can't keep even this team together if they continue to spend $15m less than other NHL teams.
