telus - internet and tv is shared.. when a tuner is on, it takes up about 5mbps per tuner
shaw - independent for tb and internet

i work at shaw p/t, but stuck with a telus 3 y contract..
from my point of view, shaw is better with tv and internet. shaw has no contact as well
shaw has more channels and speed is suber fast with the 50/100mbps resident package. wifi modems, i would choose there cisco ones over the SMC

while telus phones have more historical data for information. ie call ID.
