I would think a laptop/tablet is useful if you have to travel a lot or your job is always on the go. To me I think tablet is more or less another toy I can play with but not really useful.
x2 I tried a tablet before and just couldn't get away from not having a dedicated keyboard... yet I post a lot if you can tell by my post count, so I need a keyboard to enjoy surfing the web!
