I have A/M HID in reflector housings. NEVER had anyone complain.

The Acura RDX has DRL's built into the headlamp, and the xenon HID's in the headlamp as well. In the RDX u use the DRL's as highbeams. So both the xenon night time driving lights and the highbeams can be on at the same time.

the Acura MDX uses part of the fog lights as DRL's and has the xenon HID's in the headlamp

so Graeme S is correct, she had both her nighttime xenons on and her highbeams
