I had to stay up and watch.
Update:
Right now, the protesters are @ Foley square, a public park which by New York City by-law opens at 6:00am (just about to legitimately open now).
There are reports of an officer who went out of his way to attack some girl.
The crowd turned on him or something and dragged him off of her. I'm trying to find the vid now.
