Borderline or not, I think Shanahan should've gave him a game or two him to send a message to the rest of the league that injuring goaltenders like that is unacceptable. Exactly - Shanahan has unfortunately set the precedent that hitting a goaltender like that results in a minor penalty - no fine & no suspension.
