might get tutors for math if things get rough... I am not sure if 1152 or 1153 is harder than math 12 or easier. Math 12 was managable was I was just too busy T_T / lazy
I went directly into 1171 after math 12, so I don't know much about the lower level math courses. Taking 1152 would be a good idea to strengthen your foundational algebra skills. 1152/1253 is the same as 1171 but just spread over two terms. I'm sure that you'll be fine if you put in the time and do all assigned practice questions and more. Like !Shuya80 said, it's a tried-and-true technique to do better in mathematics. Ask questions and be vocal in class; chances are if you have a question, other students have the same question. Someone's got to speak up!

You may want to check out the Math Help Center. Students taking higher level math courses help students taking lower ones, as do some math instructors. I might apply to be a tutor for next term, haha.

Are you coming from grade 12?
