Lol mushrooms there's nothing wrong with washing them in water. Its dirty, wiping doesn't really do much...cause every veggie has water content in them already doesn't do any harm to the mushrooms if u rinse them under water.
I soak my greens with salt water too . It gives a nice crisp to them after. I soak them for about 5 minutes but with many times of water.
