so i have a small external 2.5inch WD HDD...
it's pretty old, like maybe 4-5 years old.

I hardly ever use it, but i put it in a few months ago and it just starts clicking.

fuck i know that sound.

so basically it's dead.

but i have some pretty important information on there, and im willing to pay decent money to recover it.

now... there's a buncha companies that recover data when i google it, but im also reading most of them are not professional.

u guys know any PROFESSIONAL data recovery? with good rep.

i know a few years back it was ridiculously expensive, and prices have dropped since then... there's gotta be a few out there? what about locally? canada? I don't mind shipping the drive to the states if i have to.
