No, I would get a different motherboard. I like Gigabyte boards for Intel, and Z68 is the chipset you want. I am reviewing the Z68XP-UD4 and so far it is pretty fucken awesome.

For video cards, depends on your budget. I would probably go with a GeForce 560. As for drivers Nvidia > ATI. It took over a week for ATI to release a driver that allowed SLI in Skyrim for instance, and it still runs better on Nvidia cards. If you have an ATI card, you can expect to have to wait 1-2 weeks to be able to play the latest games at full quality and performance.
