i agree, taiwanese food locally sucks.. but the only good place is pearl house which is on sperling and kingsway
their deep fried chicken leg on rice is really good, takes a long time to serve as its always freshly fried
and their beef noodle is better then lao shan dong imo
worth a try and price imo is much better than places like "the one" which is also the same owner as lao shan dong
imo.. cant be compared to food in Taiwan even though its all made from Taiwanese people
