Not really a "dessert" place per se but I went to Chop the other day in Richmond and had dinner there. They have a pretty good dessert menu right now. I had this one cake with a strawberry rum or something and it was pretty good. Pretty cozy and I think if you show up after the dinner rush, it should be ok.

I was there on a Sunday evening and the dinning lounge was moderately busy.

Edit: Here is it. Not many options but I had the Caribbean Rum Cake. I had to share it.
