I used to do deadlifts every back day last year, then my trainer told me to lay off them and focus on upper back. You know... pullups, backflies, rows
Almost a years gone by and I've had maybe 10 days of deadlift in that time. All the DL talk got me exited to try again.
a set of 10 @ 135, set of 6 @ 225, 3 sets of 3 + 1 set of 1 @ 275
set of 5 @ 225. Then proceeded to do rows + pull ups
Anyways, not crazy numbers or anything, but my whole back is soo sore today, hasn't been this sore in a while. The good kind of sore, yes i know the difference.
I'm definitely getting back into DL's, I figure deads every 2 weeks, rackpulls once a week. I don't really care about crazy numbers, I'm done with mixed grip, and 275 is heavy for regular grip.....no straps tho, i'm going to troop it out
Least I can say that I squat more than I DL
