Some of us don't have the space or money for an optimized gaming rig that doesn't lag. And I'd rather kick back on a reclineable couch than spend money on a "good" computer chair. Yes you get the precision of a mouse, but it's hard to justify playing PC when most of your friends are on consoles. I understand having a high end PC if you actually use it for things other than gaming (ie. photography, jobs), but for people like me who use a laptop mainly for internet and basic-level games, it's not worth dropping the coin on a desktop.
I don't get why PC players almost always sling mud at console players, yet I barely see it the other way around. So what if they had to cut down the game to stay within parameters? Having more players on a map just opens it up for bullshit like RPG's that blot out the sun. The base of the game is still the same.
