SSD do have a 'hard limit' unlike mechanical drives. But mechanical drives are mechanical, so almost always die after 5 years or so. An SSD won't simply start 'clicking' on you, it will just stop writing to flash, a little bit at a time. And like Stylin said, it probably won't be for quite a while under normal circumstances.
Also, even when the flash expires, you will ALWAYS be able to read from it. It's only the WRITING that stops working, not the reading. So you won't lose data on a dead SSD. If you want, you can even keep using it as an archive
