Just my personal 2 cents.
On why I don't follow the NBA anymore. I do not like how the NBA is structured right now. Every superstar wants to be with another superstar and play together. They destory the league by basically having 1 tier of teams about 5 and the rest of the 25 are tier 4.
No competition or really fun to watch. All the other major sports (NHL/NFL/MLB) don't have this problem. Yes there are the Yankees and Red Sox. But competition is still not dominated by 1 player or 2 players THAT gets what they want.
Yankees can't sign 2 guys and take themselves to the top. They still need all 20 other players. While in the NBA, the superstar can throw a hissy fit and make demands to move there and only there. If the team loses their star, the team becomes absolutely terrible.
There is no real sense of competition. Growing up, there were the bulls, homegrown dynasty. I like those. The top players were homegrown.
I do not like the "I will take my talent to south beach" Make a team, so you can win.
I understand their logic as a person/star who wants to win, but i don't agree as a fan to watch this farce of the league.
While i still love the sport. I can't stand the how the league is played and setup.
