For passive noise isolation, nothing beats the large tri cone ear tips, not even comply foams (bought from their website + tested on a flight).
The best I have tried/own so far are the klipsch s5i. The bass is lacking and there is too much mids for trance/hip hop/techno (which is what I assume most people listen to during work outs to keep them pumped up) but it is the best sounding buds that are waterproof,semi isolating and secure (when you coil it over your ear).
Msrp is 130ish but FS regularly does a 1+1 sale so you could easily pick a pair up for 70-80.
