So... wouldn't that mean she's not thinking of him then? He said he's brought the topic of communication up but she's still the same....
All that being said... I would also say avoid the revenge route. Remind her that it really bothers you and that since a relationship is a two-way street with communication being a key component, and if she's not willing to address this issue, then maybe it'd be best to part ways before it gets worse.
