Always love the mutts... Groucho is toy poodle x pom x mini dachshund, just under 5lbs, easily the smartest of the three:

Don't get too hung up on breeds other than with regards to "required" traits like low-shed, etc. Find a dog that you really "click" with. If you can, get a rescue - lots of times the staff at the rescue center will have a better idea of the dog's temperament and aptitudes, things you won't know in advance with a puppy.
