OK I'll try similar volume, but just on another day other than squats.
I do legs 3 times a week, so I am thinking
Day 1) Deadlifts (nothing else)
Day 2) Squats, Leg Curls (either with a machine or with a ball (yes a ball))
Day 3) Good Morning, Leg Extensions
That gives the extra day rest right before DL which is handy. Or would it be better to have an extra day recovery after DL? hmm
