In the end it wasn't even about getting discount. Got pissed about rep's attitude and told dad to switch to telus ASAP.
So I just switched to telus two days ago. Maybe I was unlucky and got shitty ass rep.
But from what i hear/read, seems like shaw customer service is garbage.

That's exactly the type of crap I get from them. And when I get a call for a promo, I ask to speak with someone who speaks my native tongue. They respond "nevermind, bye"
