Unlocked = Never will lock..
If you bought your phone from the Apple store unlocked for $649 or more.. then, your phone is unlocked.

I got my iphone directly from the apple store and have not put in my fido micro-sim yet. Once I do, will it stay locked to fido? Or will I be able to use it anywhere I go? For example, if I go to Asia and decide to use a local sim there...
