I am actually thankful I am getting a car, but it seems that some people look at it in more of a jealous way.
But yeah I understand what you mean by getting from point a to point b, that's all I should be worrying about I guess, because honestly I know nothing about the life to come.

No one is jealous of you... a lot of people get the same or even better than what you have.
The thing is the attitude you have towards other options out there and you make it seem like some cars are beneath you when you never know what will happen in life and someday you may be forced to drive a beater or something. You're still young, enjoy what you have now and be grateful to your parents but don't be so quick to diss other cars.
