there may be a ton of ice to work with, but with only 3 guys on the ice, maybe one hanging back so 2 guys in the zone, theres no one to pass to.

If it'll be anything like roller hockey then it'll be a total possession game where they keep circling until that one opening opens up.
Either way, eventually the teams will have to take the risk in order to get that scoring chance.
