Depends what you want to do.
We stayed in a sweet room at Poets Cove resort on Pender Island last Jan with a deep soaker double tub. Resort was beautiful...hot tubs, pools, restaurant. We just relaxed...didn't need any outside activites to keep us entertained, if you know what I mean

Weather wasn't too bad...we were still able to walk along the beach, etc.
