OK..so i thought i'd try to be a hero and tried setting up streaming from my external drive (connected to PC) to my WDTV Live via wifi.

So i set up all this bogus sharing and permissions / security...then i realized..blah..not gonna bother. streaming of blurays was kinda choppy.

BUT..now am stuck with this drive that has all these 'locks' on it and i cant get access...i can go in there dir by dir and setup myself as the user but theres a ton of files on it. what a pain... secondly, if i take this drive and connect it to my laptop upstairs (also win7), it doesnt even recognize the drive and wants to format it~~~!!!

HELP! all i wanna do is reset the user access and remove all those locks! ARGH~!!!!

It is a WD 2tb external formatted NTFS.
