Extra foods should have similar sales since it's all loblaws. Keep an eye on the flyers.
For chicken breasts, it's false economies you're looking at. Sure it's $2/lb when it's on sale, but have you actually calculated how much protein you get? If you buy bone-in fresh for $3.50 a lb, the $/g protein is actually pretty similar (~10%)
.. or buy a whole chicken for $2/lb. You basically pay the same you would if you got just breasts, but you get all this extra meat and bones for stock.
